Heck copy and paste saves tech support alot of trouble. I use a program called Shorthand at work. With a few easy keystrokes i can write paragraphs about a hundread different issues i run accrossed on a daily basis.
Just because you get copy/paste messages doesn't mean they don't look into the issues.
Sorry about the loss of your Dread... Client Side Lag is a worse killer then an enemy torpedo sometimes...

Originally by: Kunming There is this... client bug or whatever, if you get too much lag you will get out of sync with the server and your game will show you that you are still flying around doing stuff without losing FPS or any screen frozing. You can even access the market and buy stuff and everything else, but ACTUALLY there are 200 ships duking it out right next to you.
I had this back when we were fighting with FIX in FAT, I had 2 accounts active, a stealth bomber ON the battlefield (which was next to a POS) AND the BS who warped in with the fleet. When the 200 ppl engaged each other the stealth bomber didnt even see anything, it showed on the screen as if the dreadnoughts were still firing on the POS even though they had jumped out long ago. The BS was fine and only had the initial rendering lag and module activation lag but didnt got out of sync or whatever was going on. I didnt bother petitioning this though at the end of the day a GM had to move us all out of the system.
Yea I tend to drop my alt the moment battles start to heat up for this reason.

Could probobly find a 3rd party benchmarking tool to monitor system preformance. Will probobly give you a good idea of how bad it is :P

Actually yes that is client side.
You click icon to activate it. Due to system preformance your computer does not transmit that signal, "Network Packet" , as it should. Server does not recieve packet of data saying it has been clicked Server does not update status server side.
Hence its a client side issue. *Sorry Sometimes my profession gets to me :P
EDIT: for grammer

Maybe you should actually join one of these fleet battles and see how frustating it is, and it if happens to most doesn't that indacate a problem,
Here actually i have a video i will post as soon as it's uploaded
Been there, Done that. I know its frustrating. But its one of those problems that effect MMOGs in general in a huge way. The only thing that helps it is completely killing your video graphics which leaves the client more system memory to use for user tracking and server responces.
Untill more Efficent (translate: More Work) ways of programming the handling of the information and calculations are used the client/server sync issues will never go away. The problem is that it is almost impossible on a reasonable budget to make and run an MMOG without having some issues when there are 200 players in the same spot.
